About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Is there any need to stay in the city you have a 72 hours free transit permit for?

Is there any need to stay in the city you have a 72 hours free transit permit for? I need to be about 1.5 day in Yinkhou, which is about 220 km away from Dalian.

You will have to stay in the respective city where you got the 72-hrs permit and you are not allowed to leave the city. Technically. Nobody checks at the cities borders!

Checking in in a hotel in another city will be a problem tough because they will not accept you without a valid (full) visa.
