Travelling to Australia through China

Hi there ,
Within two weeks we will be travelling to Australia with two connection flights in China.
The itinerary is as follows :

17.20 Amsterdam- 10.50 Hangzhou +1
13.30 Hangzhou - 15.45 Guangzhou
21.20 Guangzhou - 08.30 Brisbane + 1

We do not intend to leave the transit zone.
Do we need a visa ?

No visa is needed, however you must leave the transit area to go through immigration and customs.
