About:China Work Visa

Does a Z type require a medical examination?

Hi there, I'm from New Zealand and am heading to China to work in late January - and trying to organise my visa. My employer to be mentions getting a comprehensive health check as part of the application process. It's not a problem but I can't seem to find any information on a Z type saying I require that?

Jo, when you apply for the work Z type, the medical examination may not be required if there is no special requirement.
After you enter China on a work Z type and apply for the residence permit, the medical examination will be needed.
