About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Third Country Required Under 24 hour Visa rule?

I am flying LAX to shanghai and then back to SFO less than 24 hours later. No third country. Is this ok under the 24 hour TWOV rule?

You have to be in transit to a third country, so no.
