144 Hour Transit Visa, what is meant by "confirmed seat"?

The regulations state that you must have a valid travel ticket and confirmed seat, my onward flight is booked but I will not normally get a seat number until check in unless I pay extra. Do I need to do this or is the reference to confirmed seat just to distinguish it from a standby booking?

Thanks,

Richard

Richard, based on my understating, you need to provide a valid confirmed ticket with confirmed data and seat. It is the reference to confirmed seat mainly to distinguish it from a standby booking.
