transit visa in shanghai pudong for 6 hours

Question

To whom should be concerned, I am a Malaysian and carry Malaysia passport. I will be traveling to the US via Shanghai airline from Malaysia airport and will be transited to another another flight from delta. I am wondering do I need a 24 hour direct transit to stay for 6 hours in the airport? If yes, where can I apply it?Thanks,Sean

Sean, you qualify for 24 hour direct transit in Shanghai. After arrival, you can just go to the transit zone and stay there to wait for your next flight if you don’t plan to leave the airport.
