s1/s2 visa

I'll be working in China on end of november. Then I will have a month vacation starting end of july 2017 and im planning to bring my son who is 3 yrs old when I get back to china on end of august 2017. Can I apply for his s1/s2 entry permit while I am on my 1 month vacation? So we can fly together once we get back to china and we will be back to the philippines by december 2017.

Yes, Marj, you can apply for it when you get back to the Philippines on your vacation. The condition is that your work Z type and residence permit should be valid at that time.
