I run a business in China since 2007 and still have a valid Work Permit and alien brown Passport with me. Unfortunately when I came to Germany I was diagnosed with Cancer and had to stay longer. So my residence permit expired. Now I fully recovered and need to return to China on a Z visa what Documents do you need from me?

Beate, you need to apply for a new Z type. The documents you need are as follows: your passport and a photocopy of it, a filled-out application form attached with your recent bare-headed photo, your work permit and an invitation letter from a duly authorized unit.
