About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hi, I have a trip planned from London to Shanghai then on to Vietnam for 7 days

and then Cambodia for 7 days however, I have to fly back to Shanghai for 1 night to catch my flight back to London. Would I be eligible for the 144 hour visa free transit when I arrive and could I apply for a 24 hour free transit on my way back?
