Transit visa for Bangkok - Beijing - Hong Kong

Can I get a 72 hour free transit for a Bangkok - Beijing - Hong Kong trip?

If you hold Thailand passport, you cannot get the 72 hour free transit, but if your layover time in Beijing is less than 24 hours, you can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit.
