Layover 17 hours in Guangzhou

Do I need a transit G visa ?
I will fly from Amsterdam to Denpasar Bali via Guangzhou and my flight has a layover for 17 hours, I was thinking to book a hotel near by the airport ( Pullman Hotel ), I am holding an Indonesian Passport and I have my Dutch ID which is valid for 5 years.
please help, thank you !
