About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Travelling from bangkok to Shanghai return 5 days do I qualify??

I have booked a return flight with air Asia and I will be travelling from bangkok to Shanghai on the 18th December and return to bangkok on the 22nd December. I will be staying with my girlfriend in a hotel in the centre of Shanghai. Do I qualify for the free 144 visa? Thank you

You don’t qualify for the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai if you travel like that because you fly back to Bangkok after staying in Shanghai, it is not a transit. You need to apply for a tourist L visa in advance.
