About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Flying to Hong Kong

I'm an American flying to Honk Kong, but there is a 6 hour layover in Beijing airport. Does the 72 hour free transit policy allow me to do this layover without any VISA or supporting documents other a passport?

Jack, if you fly from a country to Beijing and then onward to HK, the entry permit for Beijing is not required.
