We are flying Air China from JFK through PEK to Phuket HKT.

We have one hour to make our connecting flight. Reading above info and Q & A has me confused. Will we need to go through any immigration or border checks for this connecting of Flights Thank you

If you hold the through ticket, it is no need to go through the immigration and the transfer procedure can be finished in the transit area. So you are using Air China for the whole trip? Well then, one hour can be enough for the transfer.
Wish yo a smooth trip!
