About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Do I need a visa for Shanghai for 72 hours if flying to bangkok next? (SFO > BVG > BKK > SFO)

Derrick, if you travel like that, you can enjoy the 72 hour free transit in Shanghai, and then no entry permit is needed.
