About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

can i take a flight from hong kong to kunming (return flight)

and use the 72 hour free transit programme to go to Lijiang and Dali from kunming by train? then come back to kunming and fly back to hong kong? or do i need to apply for a chinese visa..

im a citizen of denmark

Tega, if you travel like HK-Kunming-HK, you will not be eligible for the 72 hour free transit in Kunming. You need to apply for a tourist L type in advance.
