About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

EU - Beijing 50 hours overstay - Shanghai - Taiwan

Is that a possibility without VISA?
I know as you wrote Taiwan is considered a 3rd region
1: Is Beijing and Shanghai together considered 1 stay in Beijing so it counts the 72 hours?
2: If you make it to Shanghai with a flight within the 72 Beijing hours then you can apply for the Shanghai 144 hour free transit?

Thank you

Chris, you can't stop over both Shanghai and Beijing. If you want to use the 144-hour free transit policy in Shanghai, you are allowed to travel to Zhejiang and Jiangsu as well. If you want to use the 72-hour free transit policy in Beijing, you can only stay in Beijing.
