About:Getting to Kunming

I want to visit Panjin Red Beach. I have Indian passport . I visited 5 cities of China earlier.

This time I wanna visit Kunming & Panjin specially to see red beach . My question is how can I go to Panjin from KM? Is it possible to avail train journey ? Please give details

Well, there is no direct train service. First of all, you may take a train to Beijing West (about 33 to 47 hours). Then, take bus line 673 to Beijing Railway Station. Afterwards, take a bullet train to Panjin (about 4 to 4.5 hours). Upon arrival, take bus line 30 to Xinhua International New City, and transfer to a bus to Zhaoquanhe Town. Then, charter a car to the Red Beach for about CNY10.

Or, you can fly to Shenyang (about 4 to 6 hours), and take a shuttle bus to Shenyang Railway Station (about 1 hour). Then, take a bullet train to Panjin (about 1 to 1.5 hours). Afterwards, follow the above route to the Red Beach.
