About:Beijing Travel

I am flying from Texas (IAH) to Beijing (PEK) to Vietnam (SGN).

I have a 15 hours layover in PEK. Do I need to claim my checked luggage going to custom at PEK?

If I want to visit the city via the 72-hour Visa-free, do I need to claim my checked luggage?

Thank you.

You needn't claim your luggage. But you need to go through Customs Inspection at PEK.

If you plan to visit the city during the layover, you needn't claim your luggage, either. ;)
