About:Shanghai Transportation

visa 72h: flying into shanghai on october 5th from uk hotel booked then picking up a cruise ship.

do i need a visa and if so who do i inform so many different answers so unsure . Thanks

Hey, you should know the 72h visa-free policy is only for air passengers (arrival & departure). For your case, it is suggested to apply for a transit visa in advance. But if your layover is within 24h, you are eligible for the 24h visa free policy.
