About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Am I eligible for 24-h/72h TWOV??

Hi guys, might be a repeating question - hopefully its not ;)
I have booked the following itinerary by turkish airlines on one ticket:
HAM (via IST) to GZ and return from SIN (via IST) to HAM

And a further ticket:
GZ to BKK (2nd Ticket, Thai Air) - 2 days after arrival (might be changed to 24h)

So do I match requirements for 24h transit, 72h transit in GZ or do I need to apply for a chinese visa because I have two seperate tickets? Is a single outbound flight to BKK enough to get boarded? somehow I need to get to Singapore for my return^^

Thanks for your help..

If you are a German or a citizen from one of 53 eligible countries, you are perfectly allowed to enjoy 144 hour visa free transit in Guangdong province.

Your itinerary:

Istanbul - Guangzhou - Bangkok

Is definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit or 24 hour visa free transit if you decide to stay for less than 24 hours. Also, separate tickets were always allowed and also a one way ticket to Bangkok because it is not a problem of Chinese authorities what will you do after you land in Bangkok.

You will print out your flight tickets and also an accommodation booking confirmation and have those printouts with you. You will declare in Istanbul (Hamburg) that you will travel to Bangkok via Guangzhou using 144 hour visa free transit. After a short inspection of your tickets, you will be allowed to board the plane.

Upon arrival in Guangzhou, you will approach 144 hour visa free transit where you will fill out the blue form and again, after a short inspection, you will get a sticker in your passport and be allowed to exit the airport. That's it.
