Travelling with 'airplane' baggage

I will take 2 trains in my stay in China...from Shanghai to Xian and from Xian to Beijing.
I will carry one bag up to 20 kilos (like the one usually checked in in a flight) and a small one, up to 8 kilos (as the one having on the plane). Do you think that i will face a problem with that?
