kunming - shangri-la is it possible to take bicycles with the bus?

And how is the road from Shangri-la to the tiger leaping gorge, do you think that we can handle this on one day ( 80-90 km are not that much with bicycles), how is the condotion of the road, or are there any special bicycle routes from shangri-la to the gorge?Thank you

I am afraid that you cannot take bikes onto the buses. You are advised to mail the bikes in advance. Actually, the road condition is not satisfactory. There are no special bike routes along the way. The distance is about 100km. You should spend more time for the cycling. Take care and have fun!
