Australian citizen travelling on a 7 day cruise from Hong Kong to Singapore

visiting SanyaPRC for 8hours only before sailing onto Vietnam do I need visa?? Regards Tracey

In principle, you can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit in Sanya, but because you will travel in and out by the same cruise ship, you may be required to apply for a transit G type in advance. You can confirm that with the cruise company.
