About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Amsterdam-Bangkok-Shanghai

Hi, if I travel from Amsterdam to Bangkok and from Bangkok to Shanghai and back to Bangkok (to catch my flight back to Amsterdam) do I qualify for the 144 hours visa? Would appreciate a reply, seeing I might have to change some things (already booked ticket to Bangkok, but really want to visit China too).

Rob, if so, you don’t qualify for the 144 hour free transit. In principle, after stopping in Shanghai, you should fly to a third country or region instead of the last country you fly from, but you fly back to Bangkok.
