About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

do i qualify for the 72 hour visa in shanghai?

My flight from Karachi goes via Bangkok to Shangahi, but i plan to stay in Bangkok on the the way back;

Syed, I'm afraid you don't qualify for it if you are a Pakistani.

But you can't fly from Bangkok to Shanghai and then to Bangkok. You can stop over a third country before returning to Bangkok.

Thanks. The flight goes via BKK (connecting flight) I dont plan to stay in BKK on my way to Shanghai. I plan to stay in BKK on my way back; still not eligible?

Even though it just stop in Bangkok for a connecting a flight, it will be regarded as entry to Thailand. So it is still not eligible for the free transit.
