About:China Transit Visa

Do we need a Transit VIsa in Shanghai, flying from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Jeju Island, Korea

I am Malaysian. My travel companion is Vietnamese. We are flying to Jeju, Korea from Kuala Lumpur. Do we need a visa when we transit in Shanghai? We are flying China Eastern Airlines. Thanks.

If your layover time in Shanghai is no more than 24 hours, you can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit there, In this case, you don’t need to apply for any entry permit.
