i have a lay-over in kunming airport at night for a little over ten hours.

Question

I will have slept on the plane coming in, so I won't be tired.  Is there anything enjoyable to do in the airport?  Do you suppose I could get a free shuttle to a hotel in the city and at least have dinner there?  If so, what hotel would you recommend? Thanks.

To be frank, there is no interesting thing to do at night in the airport. If wanting to stay in a hotel in downtown, you can take shuttle bus line 2 (CNY25) to Jinjiang Hotel. You can roam around the nearby Beijing Road for fun. In the next morning, use the same way back for the onward flight.
