About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Different Company

I bought a ticket from Brazil to Beijing by AirChina Company, and 3 days later, other ticket from Beijing to Hong Kong, by Dragonair Company.
Am I eligible for the 72 hours free transit? Is there any problem buying tickets of different companies?

Thanks
