About:Chinese Consulate in Edinburgh

I have applied and been accepted for a Z Visa, it will be sent to my home in Glasgow, Scotland.

How long would it normally take to finalise the visa process in Edinburgh, as I need to book a flight?

Many thanks, Angela

Angela, so you mean you applied by mail? If yes, it normally takes 10 working days to receive it.

Hello. My Z type was organised by my employers in China. They are forwarding my Work Permit, Medical Certificate and Invitation. The agency in Beijing have stated that it documents will be sent by special delivery to my home in Glasgow. I was told I have to take all the relevant information to the Edinburgh CVASC. I am wondering how long will it take to sort it out in Edinburgh, 10 days?

Many thanks, Angela
