About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72 hr eligibility

We are traveling to Japan for 16 days. We wanted to do a side trip in between to Disney, Shanghai. We have American passport, can we qualify for 72 hrs entry with no visa? Thanks.

Maria, if you fly from US to Japan via Shanghai, you will qualify for the 144-hour free transit policy. You can buy two seperate tickets which enable you to have a long layover in Shanghai.
