About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Tokyo - Beijing (>72 hours) - Bangkok (5 nights) - Shanghai (2 nights)

Holding a US passport, will I run into any problems with this itinerary? Shanghai now has a 144 hour visa, so this should be okay, right? Any info will help! Thank you!

No, you won't run into any problem. This route enables you to enjoy both the 72-hour free transit in Beijing and the 144-hour free transit in Shanghai. Good trip!
