About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do we qualify for the 72 free transit?

We are planning to visit the Great Wall within that time frame flying round trip Hong Kong.

Yolanda, you mean you travel route is HK-Beijing-HK? If yes, you don’t qualify for the 72 hour free transit in Beijing. After staying in Beijing, you should fly to a third country or region if you want to enjoy the free transit there.

Do I then qualify?

Dear, if you change your travel route to the above one and stop in Beijing for less than 72 hours, you qualify for the 72 hour free transit in Beijing.
