About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Flying from Beijing to Hong Kong

Flying from Los Angeles to Beijing, staying there for 72 hours, then flying to Hong Kong and staying there for 72 hours, then flying to Thailand for a week. Sounds like I qualify for the 72 hour free transit in Beijing, being a tourist from USA i don't need to to get any other visas right?
