Questions about work visa

Is it true that in order for me to get a "Z" type, I need to have minimum 2 years of working experience? I just graduated from a Chinese University (Bachelor's Degree) this june and looking for a job right now. My X type will expired in the end of july and I'm confused whether I should go back to my country or not. Is it possible for me to get a "Z" type?

Yes, in most cases, the 2-year work experience is needed for work Z type application. Of course, if you start a business in Shanghai or Beijing after graduation, the 2-year work experience is not that necessary. It’s possible for you to get a work Z type then.

Anyway, you can first find a company to employ you, and then try to apply for the work Z type. Nothing is absolute. Give it a try!

I am a Chinese. I help some friends with the work visa in Guangzhou. In fact, the immigration requires you to have 2 years work experience even for those who open a company. If you are the state urgently needed talent, maybe you don't have to have 2 years work experience. If you can find a company to employ you and you are good enough, perhaps the immigration will not ask for the 2 year work experience. Good luck.
