About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

Confirmation, what is required for the Multi-Entry with 6-month Validity

Hi everyone,
I'm a French citizen with an Australian Permanent Residency and I have never been to PRC.

I would like to apply for the Multi-Entry with 6-month Validity Visa but I read (can't find where I got this info anymore) that to be eligible for this application I will have to first enter and exit the country twice on a simple holiday Visa and also have someone sending me an invitation letter.
Am I correct?
Thanks

Thomas, it is hard to say. As far as I know, even though you have never been to PRC, it’s also possible for you to get multiple entry one when you apply for it for the first time. You can have a try.

Thanks Justin.

Do you think that I could even try without the invitation letter?

Cheers

Yes, you can have a try, but if your have such an invitation letter, the chance to be approved is bigger.
