About:Chinese Embassy in Colombia

Z Visa for American Citizen Living in Colombia

Hello,
I will be heading to PRC in a few months to teach English and am currently living in Colombia. Will the Chinese Embassy in Bogota allow me to file for the Z type, or must I go back to the States to do this? I am being sponsored by my employer in China to obtain this visa.

Drew, you can apply for it at the embassy of PRC in Bogota. You don’t need to return to US to apply for it.

I was wondering if you were able to obtain your Z visa in Bogota or did you have to return to the US??
