If we stay on Shamian Island in Jiangyue Hotel, is there a bridge to walk across to Beijing Road?

Hi, walking to Beijing Road is doable (not through a long bridge), but it may take you about an hour. The best way is to take subway: walk from ur hotel across the People's Bridge to Cultural Park Station and take line 6 to Beijing Road directly. The surroundings on the island is perfect and the transportation. But if you wanna mike things easier, I suggest you stay in a hotel near Haizhu Plaza, near which restos, malls, & attractions are accessible.

Thanks! We have been looking for a hotel in the 3 to 4 star range but nearly all in the Beijing Rd area have comments which include unclean rooms and even cockroaches seen 8n rooms. Any hotel suggestions please? Or a clean hotel in the Haizhu area please?

Oh, maybe you can choose to stay at Guangdong Hotel. The price is CNY 350-400 per night. As I know, this hotel has clean environment and warm service. It's located at No.309 Middle Dongfeng Road. Hope you like. :)
