About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

Extending stay

Hi, I will apply for a multiple entry visa for 3 months in China.
I was told that during my first 30 days stay I can apply to extend it to 2 months, is that correct? If yes, where can I do that? and when should I make the application?

Aurelia, usually, you should apply for the extension 7 days earlier before it expires. And the extended stay cannot be more than the original stay duration of your entry permit. You should extend it at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB.
