About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Does the Visa free travel count on return flight

So I'm interested in seeing if I can use the free transit during my return flight. Going direct from LAX->PVG->HKG->and immediately back to PVG stay for over 48 then back direct to LAX.

Andy, if you travel like that, you can enjoy the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai.
