About:

Tokyo - Shanghai

Hi
I am traveling to Japan in October and at the end of our holiday we are spending 4 days in Shanghai (arrive 6pm Tuesday 18th October and fly out Sunday 00:05) are we able to travel with the 144 visa, does that apply to us?

Hi Sophie, as long as you don't travel back to Japan after the stay in Shanghai, you can use the 144 hour visa-free transit policy.
