overstaying 144hr visa by 12 hours?

Hi, I am travelling to shanghai arriving july 4th at 7.20pm and leaving from shanghai on july 11th at 12.35pm. As the 144hr period doesn't technically start until midnight on the 5th of july I will be only overstaying the 144 hour transit permit by 12 hours...Can I still travel on the 144 hr free transit?
