can i come back to seoul from shanghai using the 144 hour transit rule?

Hey there I am a us citizen and have a us passport. However I am currently in Seoul with family. I would like to go to Shanghai from Seoul. Thank you

Daniel, if you want to use the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai, after staying in Shanghai for less than 144 hours, you should fly to a third country or region rather than the last one you fly in. If you will fly back to Seoul, a tourist L visa is needed.
