About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

After leaving China, is X1 visa still valid to travel to China

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am from Pakistan and currently studying in Germany, and before coming here I used to study in Shanghai, China. I have got X1 and my residence permit is valid until 31 JULY 2018. I want to ask, since I left China and I am not enrolled at that University anymore, is my X1 still valid to travel to PRC as I am willing to visit there again.

I will be very much thankful to you, if it is possible to know about this.

Hi there! I’m afraid your residence permit cannot be used for your entry to PRC. Once you left the school, the school will inform the exit and entry administration to cancel your residence permit. So you need to re-apply for a new visa if you want to go there again.

Hello,thank you for your response. I want to ask is there any contact information or link where i can confirm the validity of this. Also, if i use travelling visa then it will not be a problem, right?
