About:China Visa

I recently applied for a China tourist visa.

I provided my approximate travel itinerary on the application form. Applying via an agency, I was advised to fill out a new application form, and this time leave out my travel itinerary, so that the space was left blank. My application was refused. Did the agency give me bad advice?

Tom, usually, it requires that the application form should be completely filled out, so you cannot leave any blank. You need to provide your travel itinerary even though you are applying for it through an agency.
