Extension of unexpired visa

Hi, I have recently applied for a 3 month tourist type which is valid until the 27th march 2014. In view of an emergency, I have to postpone my trip till May or June. Am I able to extend it or must I reapply and pay the same fee again? Would appreciate your kind assistance.

If you already come to PRC, you can extend it there. Right now you need to apply for another one and your current one will automatically become invalid after you get the new one. Of course you should pay the fee again.
