About:China Visa

inquiry about Trip to China

Hello, I'm visiting a friend in PRC for a wedding, should I fill out a F or L visa? Do we need to hand in our application or can we mail it in? Are any vaccinations required to enter PRC? Do we still need a letter of invitation? Do we need to include previous Chinese entry permits?

Natalie, you can just apply for a tourist L type to attend the wedding in PRC. You cannot mail your application to the consulate general, so you should submit it in person or find someone to submit it for you.
There is no requirement for vaccinations.
You’d better get an invitation letter from your friend, in this case, no round trip air tickets and hotel booking record are needed.
You need to provide copies of previous Chinese entry permits.
