visit simitai, jinshangling or jiankou

I'll be in beijing for 2-3 days before heading south and want to know the best route of the wall to hike and maybe spend a night out camping on. i want it to be least touristic and un-restored so badaling is out of the question. Also, what is the most cost effective way to get to these specific areas and how?

thank you
Dan

If you want the least touristic and un-restored section, then Simatai is the best choice, as you can camp there.
You can use subway line 2 or line 13 to Dongzhimen Station first, and then take bus 980 or 980 Express from Dongzhimen Transit Hub. Get off at Miyun Bus Station and transfer to bus Mi 37, Mi 50, or Mi 51 to Simatai Village Station.
