About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144h visa exemption - valid for normal return

Can I use 144h exemption for simple outward and return (Glasgow to Shanghai), or is it only valid for transiting i.e. Glasgow -> Shanghai -> Tokyo?

Regards

Jamal, it's only valid for transitting, so your second route will qualify.
