Transit rules for PRC citizen

Hi, Is the transit rule applying for a PRC citizen flying from Singapore to Wuhan via HK?
We are travelling from Singapore and want to make a stop for few days in HK and then fly to Wuhan, PRC. We will have the onward ticket before entering HK.

Quote,
"Holders of People’s Republic of China (PRC) passports who are in transit through Hong Kong to and from another country or territory may be granted a stay of seven days on each landing without the prior need to obtain an entry permit provided that normal immigration requirements are met, including possession of valid entry facilities for the destination and confirmed onward booking for the overseas journey."End quote

Please advise.

Yes, this transit rule applies to you, and because you will fly via Hong Kong to a inland city, you don't have to have an onward ticket before entering HK.
